The short version
You don't need an account. Your designs, tracklists and images stay in your browser and are never uploaded to us. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we are
jcard.studio is run by S Hillsin the United Kingdom. We are responsible (the "controller") for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@jcard.studio.
What we collect and why
- Payments. If you buy a pass, Stripe takes the payment. Stripe collects your card details, email address and billing country or address. We never see your full card details. We can see your email, name, country and the payment in our Stripe account. We use these to provide the pass, handle refunds and keep the financial records the law requires. If Stripe acts as the reseller for your purchase, Stripe is responsible for the data it collects for the sale. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- The pass cookie. After you pay, we set one cookie,
jcard_access, which shows the site you have a pass. It is strictly necessary for the service you paid for. It holds a reference to your checkout and the expiry time, and it expires after 24 hours. - Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical details such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- Fonts. The designer loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
- Emails. If you email us, we use your address and message to reply.
How long we keep it
Payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message, and for no more than two years.
Where it's processed
Stripe, Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the UK. They use their own legal safeguards for those transfers.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@jcard.studio. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
